6th Annual Fall Pet Fest October 21, 2006 |

| Lee County Animal Services and the Lee County Animal Care Trust
hosted the 5th annual Fall Pet Fest at Lee County Animal Services'
shelter. The event, sponsored by KB Home, resulted
in 80 pets being adopted into new homes and over $10,600 raised for the
Animal Care Trust Fund. The goal of the Fall Pet Fest has always
been to to increase awareness for the need to find homes for the area's
orphaned pets and to educate pet owners on proper pet ownership, including
the importance of spaying and neutering. In the process, a fun
day of activities was had by all! |
