Pet Hurricane Kit Contents

 Pet First Aid:

• Antidiarrheal Stomach Relief tablets (1/2 tablet for dogs over 40 lbs., ¼ tablet under 40 lbs., every 12 hours)
• Antibiotic ointment (topical wound treatment)
• Betadine (for cleaning deep or puncture wounds, sterilizing agent)
• Hydrogen peroxide
• Isopropyl alcohol
• Saline Solution (eye wash)
• Cotton-tipped swabs
• Gauze pads
• Gauze roll
• Non-adherent bandage pads
• Bandage tape
• Styptic pencil (blood clotting agent)
• Syringe or eye dropper (may be used to dispense peroxide, Betadine, saline solution or any topical wound liquid)
• Digital thermometer (rectal)
• Tweezers
• Bandage scissors
• Tongue depressors (small animal splints)
• Latex gloves
