Argyle’s Cure for Cancer

 

Argyle's Cure was founded in memory of the beloved Scottish Terrier of Ella Nayor.  Argyle passed away on October 6, 2008 after fighting a valiant battle with cancer.  As donations are raised, this fund will have the ability of positively affect many pets that might otherwise not get vital medical help for cancer treatment.  It will also provide an opportunity to raise funds for awareness and research aimed at preventing some canine cancers which can be devastating, emotionally and financially, for pet owners.

Argyle's Cure, available through the Animal Care Trust Fund, is specifically designated for dogs diagnosed with cancer. Funds will be used in several ways:

  • To help pets recover or stay comfortable through their cancer treatment. To qualify pet owners must demonstrate financial hardship; 
  • To be used for the treatment of shelter pets diagnosed with cancer that will have a chance of survival with treatment and adoption; 
  • To be used for medical research to find a cure or treatment for canine cancer;
  • To be used for public education regarding early detection and prevention of canine cancer.
