More Foster Pets

These are just a few of the hundreds of lives saved through the LCDAS Foster Program.  You can save a life too by fostering a pet in need. LCDAS provides all necessary supplies including food, medications and veterinary care.  In addition to alleviating shelter overcrowding, foster families provide a temporary home and whatever type of care is needed.  Fostering can last from one to eight weeks depending on the animal's needs.  Foster families are needed for mother cats with nursing kittens, kittens and puppies not old enough for adoption, or adult dogs that need socialization or recovery time from treatable illness.
