Shelter Closings

Lee County Domestic Animal Services will be closed the following dates.  If your pet is missing when the shelter is closed, please be at the shelter with proof of ownership to claim your pet at 8:00 am on the next open business day.  If you do not have proof of ownership you may look for your pet at 11:30 am when the kennels are open to the public on the next open business day.  If you have seen your missing pet online after hours please call (239) 533-7387 and press option #2.  Please have the animal ID number ready when you call.  The after hours answering service will notify the on-call officer until midnight to place a hold on your pet through closing on the next open business day.

Please note, the shelter is not open on Sundays.
