PET FOOD RECALL INFO.

To keep up-date-with which foods are on the pet food recall list go to http://www.menufoods.com/recall/ .  Be sure to check all of your dry and wet foods and treats for for the ingredient "wheat gluten."  So far this seems to be the ingredient causing the problem although other possibilities are being studies.  Keep up-to-date with the info. on the above listed website for additions to this.

Symptoms may include frequent urination or less urination than normal and/or indications that urination is painful to your pet.  Water intake may be more or less than usual and could be accompanied by bloody urine and fever.  This information is not intended to replace a diagnosis from your pet's veterinarian but may provide things for you to watch.  If your pet has any questionable behavior or change in eating, drinking, or urination habits you should consult your veterinarian immediately.
